The Inspiration: Certain varieties lend themselves to Rosé and we feel that Shiraz is one of them. The grapes were picked early then left on skins just long enough to create a delicate blush of colour. Lees contact for extra mouthfeel and complexity.
This wine is always 100% Shiraz from a block at our Mount Benson vineyard that is grown purposefully for our Rosé. A new addition to our fully certified Biodynamic range. A refreshing style savoury, textural, dry and complex. Honeydew and white strawberries with green cardamom and hibiscus aromatics, this wine has refreshing acidity and is very drinkable - to be enjoyed and contemplated with good friends and great food.
Cellaring: This is a fruit driven wine, at its best in its youth however it will evolve into a more tertiary and complex style in the bottle for up to two years.
Food Pairing: Versatility is Rosé's greatest claim to fame. It’s ideally suited to light, fresh, Summery food and lunchtime occasions. Think seafood bouillabaisse, antipasto and Mediterranean food.
