Welcome to Needle & Pin Distillery

I grew up as the 3rd generation in a family vineyard & wine producing company in  the Riverland region of South Australia. This instilled in me the importance of sustainability, quality product and a love of Riverland produce.

My passion for spirits & gin started while studying at University & working part time as a bartender in leading Adelaide bars & restaurants. Upon graduating from University, I followed my passion and became a cocktail mixologist & moved into bar management, eventually travelling overseas to work in leading bars to increase my skills & experience.

Returning to Australia and combining my love of the Riverland and passion for gin, I started Needle & Pin Distillery.

To create my gins, I use base spirit produced from grapes from our family vineyards. For the botanicals we use local Riverland producers of Citrus, almonds, olive leaves from our olive groves, & native saltbush. Our objective is to support local farmers, producers practising sustainability in order to keep our gin as local as possible.

Our Portuguese Alembic Copper Pot Still is perfect for making gin. As the temperature rises the slow-moving vapour passes through the botanicals and extracting a truly extraordinary flavour for our N&P Gins.
