Who is Artisan Selections?
The best sum up of how we came about is a love affair. The falling in love between people with the same passion of the food & wine.
Over our years of travelling, the Founders of Artisan Selections had the opportunity to try truly incredible artisanal food & beverage. We listened intently to their fascinating stories and tasted their produce… we couldn’t resist to share them with friends and now discerning Singapore foodies.
Our team is based in Adelaide (South Australia) and Singapore which enable us to be close to both artisans (producers) and customers.

Richard Leong | CEO - FounderSingaporean by birth, Richard is a true global citizen having worked the best part of his life in Europe, USA, Asia & Australia. A passionate foodie his travels introduced him to the unique & cultural artisanal cuisine of countries around the world. Returning to Singapore, Richard was driven to share these flavours & taste to Singapore.
Adrian Mah | CMO - FounderBased in Singapore, Adrian heads up retail, Food Service & customer service. Adrian has over 14 years of in-depth experience in F&B to ASEAN countries. Widely travelled and having owned F&B establishments and Anglo – Chinese heritage, Adrian has full understanding of Asian customer desires in quality, taste & of course price.
Grant Wylie | COO - Founder
Based in Adelaide, Grant heads up our Australian team & has 40 years experience in food & agribusiness including farming, food production, restaurants & food services. With a zeal to only deliver the best taste & flavour, Grant sources the best Artisanal produce from Australia & and further a field.
Helen Nielsen - Food Curator
Helen’s love of food began at home, where her mother always prepared fresh home cooked meals using fresh, wholesome ingredients. Graduating from the Royal Adelaide Hospital’s Dental School, Helen travelled to London and obtained a Diploma in Oral Hygiene and Nutrition from London Royal College of Dentistry.
In London, Helen worked for leading restaurants and travelled the EU in search of extraordinary food experiences. Returning to Australia, Helen worked in oral hygiene and nutrition but increasingly with leading South Australian artisan food producers and suppliers.
Helen’s qualifications include food industry certificates and food judging. Currently Helen works with South Australia’s leading supplier of artisan cheeses, located at the world renowned Adelaide Central Market.
Mark Turnbull - Wine & Spirit Curator
Mark Turnbull has had more than 35 years’ extensive experience in the Australian wine industry. Mark worked as chief winemaker, winery manager, vintage postings in Europe | US, and lecturer in Oenology and as Manager of the acclaimed Roseworthy Hickinbotham Wine Science Laboratory University of Adelaide.
With his enormous winemaking experience and extensive exposure to international markets, Mark is especially well placed to curate wine, beer & Spirits with special appeal to Asian export markets.
