Kangaroo Island Spirits Old Tom Gin has been named the nation’s champion gin.
Old Tom boasts a distinctly Kangaroo Island flavour enhanced by the inclusion of foliage from the coastal daisy bush (olearia axillaries), native juniper (myoporum insulate) and locally grown lemon myrtle and aniseed myrtle leaves.
An old style gin, slightly sweetened and aged in oak for a short period before bottling. This gin - which is the colour of white wine - has sweet aniseed and lemon myrtle are added to create a unique flavour experience.
