Welcome to Gaelic Cemetery Wines

Neil Pike & Grant Arnold, Owners

Gaelic Cemetery Wines is a joint venture between Neil and Andrew Pike of Pikes Wines and Clare Valley vigneron Grant Arnold.

The Gaelic Cemetery Vineyard itself was established in 1996 by Grant Arnold on a parcel of land immediately adjacent to the historic Gaelic Cemetery approximately five kilometres due north of the Clare township - hence the name.

First released in 2007, both the red and white wines made from Gaelic Cemetery Vineyard have received numerous plaudits from wine journalists and have been multiple Gold Medal and Trophy winners in Australian wine shows.

The brief for the partnership is quite simple: to craft small volumes of super premium Clare Valley wines that reflect the variety, vintage and uniqueness of the place.

First released in 2007, both the red and white wines made from Gaelic Cemetery Vineyard have received numerous plaudits from wine journalists and have been multiple Gold Medal and Trophy winners in Australian wine shows.

The Gaelic Cemetery Vineyard label design reflects the simplicity and minimal intervention approach we take with the wine. The image of the thistle is taken from an old headstone in the cemetery.
